House construction begins!

Our builder has started on our new house! The first week of January saw our 'hole' being dug & as of last week, the foundation has been poured. By the time we get out to Cochrane again, the framing should be done. We are all very excited. Mom is especially excited to be done with all the house appointments! Now, we wait until July to see the finished product.Tuesday, January 5, 2010
Busy Day
I think it's funny when I flip forward... only because Mom or Dad is there to catch me, otherwise it would hurt and there would be tears.
Crazy cowboy.
Falling asleep way too late in the afternoon watching Elmo.I had my first gymnastics class today which was very exciting. I loved being back singing songs, playing and learning new things. Mommy, however, was not impressed. Two classes of toddlers have been combined making things very busy & very crazy. Mommy hopes that she will be working most classes so Daddy has to take me. I was very wired at class and it continued at home. I would not nap in the afternoon and became increasingly more wired. Mom & Dad thought it was funny at first but then felt bad after several nap attempts. Daddy thought I would settle down with an Elmo DVD & I did. Mom hopes I sleep well tonight as I would not eat dinner & had such a topsy turvy day. Last night I woke up crying & wanted to go into Mom & Dad's bed. There I had a coughing fit until I vomited. Mom does not want another night like that!!
Big brother

Here is the first picture of my little brother or sister! We call him/her Niblet as that is the name the ultrasound technician used & we love it. Niblet measured 21.1mm which puts Mommy at 8 weeks and 5 days, as of yesterday. The heart rate was good at 163bpm... the same as mine when I had my first picture at 10 weeks! Mom is sure it is a boy, Dad thinks it's a girl but we will have to wait until the big day to find out.
Christmas Day
What can it be?!
I could have played with my stocking contents all day!
All for me?
Me & Granpa Gus with our respective bottles on the stool. We had a very special Christmas with Baba & Granpa Gus. I must have been a very good boy because I received lots of very nice presents! We relaxed all day and then went to Uncle Byron & Auntie Liping's for dinner... yum!!
That was the end of enjoying the holidas for Mommy as she developed really bad morning sickness. Luckily, she had lots of family around to help out with me! On Sunday, Mamie & Papie arrived from Quebec. I loved having both my granparents here. We all wish we lived in the same place!
