Big Boy Bed

All done!

My bed arrived yesterday and Daddy got right to assembling it. I didn't get to sleep in it last night, but after buying bedding this morning, I enjoyed my first nap in my new bed. I think it's pretty cool; a shelf for my books and friends and a huge cozy bed all for me! Mommy and Daddy are very excited for me; they love being able to tuck me in and look forward to reading me stories before bedtime. I said "BYE" to my crib, I'm a big boy now!

O' Christmas Tree

I love waking up in the mornings and sitting near the tree with Mommy or Daddy. I point out all the different ornaments and even say the names of some them; "pomme" and "santa" being my favourites. What's that? You're wondering about my PJ's? Yes, they're very warm & it was the only colour in my size!

Let it Snow!

We think winter may be here to stay awhile but it is Calgary so you never know. It was very windy but the temperature was just -6 so Mom bundled us up & out we went. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the snow!! I helped Mommy shovel then I walked through all the deep snow. It's super fun!

Christmas already?!

Daddy really wanted to set up our little tree today but Mommy thought it was too early. You can see who one that battle! We had fun & I loved to help. Mommy looks forward to next year when we can have a real tree!

New Winter Gear

I kinda of outgrew my snowsuit from last year & Mommy & Daddy thought it was more for babies anyways. Mommy is not a fan of cammo but she thought the dinosaur cammo was pretty

cute. I love to shovel & say "snow". There are always lots of tears when it's time to go back inside!

Two of my favourite things

I like taking the stickers off my chart & putting them elsewhere...
my hands, feet, tummy, the potty, etc.

I like walking in Mommy's slippers!

Brave little boy

Back on the potty!

Back to my chart!

Mommy & I got home from the hospital last night after spending two nights at the Peter Lougheed Centre being treated for bacterial pneumonia. Thank goodness it was a short stay & that I responded quickly to the antibiotics because the hospital is icky. I was a very brave boy for all my pokes & procedures; Mommy & Daddy are very proud. I received lots of stickers for being a good boy! My favourites are my 'button' stickers.... I won't let Mommy take them off. I am on antibiotics for over a week & housebound for that time, too. It was very hard on Mommy & Daddy to have me sick again & in the hospital but I now tell them "all done" & "home" & "off" (my IV catheter)!! It's good to be home & feeling better.

My first certificate!!

Emelia was the youngest one in our class. She is very cute &
Mommy loved her because she would sit on her lap a lot & cuddle!

We all received certificates for completing our class. Mommy signed me up again, so we go back in January... yay!

More gymnastics pictures!

All us kids loved the 'snow flakes'!

I was more interested in putting the sticks in the bucket & taking them out again
rather than actually play hockey!

Gymnastics All Done!

Today was my last gymnastics class. It was Christmas themed, so we listened to fun Christmas music and played with lots of toys. Mommy & me made an ornament for the Christmas tree (Mommy forgot to take a picture of it!). I got a certificate, a candy cane and, of course, stamps on my feet! I didn't want to leave when class was done.

I've got the cutest baby legs!

Mom doesn't know why, but I just love my baby legs! I get them out the drawer and say "baby, baby". They're great because I get to look at my diaper when I'm wearing them. And looking at my diaper is really exciting when there's a picture of Elmo on it. Of course, I would never leave the house wearing these, only under my pants when it's cold outside!

Choices, choices

Mommy & Daddy have a lot of work to do now. Our house blueprints are in so now it's time to choose colours. They thought they just had to choose the siding colour, but no it's all the colours for the exterior. Things that they don't even know what they are!! There are at least 10 different colour decisions they have to make. As long as I have a room and a fun backyard, I don't care about the colours!

Big Boo Boo

Me with the bad thing!

I took comfort in reading many books with Mommy.

I had a terrible fall today that had both me and Mommy crying. I ran, tripped and hit my forehead on the fireplace surround. Mommy would like to take a sledgehammer to it she says.

Mommy's Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love Mommy's chocolate chip cookies! This is the first time I've had them. Mommy tells me they are a special treat. I say "encore, encore", but Mommy says no.

Go Habs Go!

I am always asking Daddy to put his Habs jersey "on, on, on"! I love my t-shirt, too. I like watching the games with Daddy in our matching shirts. Mommy stays quiet.

Gymtastics!

I love my teacher, Cathy!

I think I'll enjoy the trampoline more when I'm a bit older.

I love hanging!

Combine hanging AND swinging and you have a very fun time.

The foam pit is so cool. Daddy loves it & Mommy, the germaphobe, hates it!
Can you believe I am two now? It's been a long time since we last posted but we will start again. Lots has been happening and the days go by so quickly. Mommy is back to work full time so I spend equal amount of time with Mom & Dad. Mommy has some difficult days when we are not together but it makes our time together that much more special! Daddy has been doing a great job of cooking and keeping me happy. We do lots of fun stuff together; stuff we don't always tell Mommy about! Mommy does her own fun stuff like housecleaning, laundry and tidying up after Daddy. Mommy & Daddy make me laugh!

C'est bon!

I have followed in Mommy's footsteps when it comes to appreciating good French pastries!
