Last of the house pics June 26

Driveway!

So much nicer when we can't see the ugly colour of the garage!

House Update - June 26, More Pics

Finished fireplace.

Don't know why this is sideways, but it shows the kitchen granite well.

Stairs to bonus room.

Why sideways, again?!

We love the bathroom granite!

House Update - June 26

Very OFF centre toilet!!
We enjoyed a nice long about drive to Cochrane this morning. I fell asleep so Mommy & Daddy toured some of the countryside. They get more & more excited about the move everytime we visit!

Sunny Days

Finally we have been able to enjoy some sunny days & I can play with water in the back yard! Not to mention enjoying some of Mommy's homemade popsicles.

House Update - June 19

I will be enjoying my new house lots cause there's lots of mud to be found!!

Mommy & Daddy's walk-in closet

Mommy could just lay on the carpet all day!

Mortgage Papers Signed

Well, Mom & Dad signed the mortgage papers yesterday and now just have to meet with the lawyer. Then, they will be officially first time home owners! We visited the house today and were surprised to see a lot done in a week's time. The carpeting has been laid, the baseboards are installed and some other little things. Mommy loves the feeling of the plush, soft carpeting under her feet! We are all getting very excited about the big move & living in our new house!!

Sushi Yum Yum

Much to Mommy's surprise, I helped her eat a California roll... everything but the seaweed. I will master the chopsticks in no time!

House Update - June 13

Mommy was trying to catch the drool from my mouth.

Ensuite tiling done.

Granite & tiling done in kitchen.

Not as bad as Mommy had thought.

Hardwood floors are in!
After Spruce Meadows, I fell asleep in the truck so Mom & Dad thought they'd drive out to see the house. Much to their delight, a lot has been done since our last visit. The hardwood has been installed, all the granite (except for the island) is in, the fireplace is tiled and the bathrooms are fully tiled.

Our first trip to Spruce Meadows

I was a good boy & wore my hat... just like Mommy.

Sharing my snacks nicely with Josie.

Josie did not want to hold hands for long, but I enjoyed it while it lasted!

I love horses!

We all went to Spruce Meadows yesterday and met up with Joanne & Josie. It was sunny & warm and we enjoyed the quiet, small crowds. I loved watching the horses jumping; clapping when they did well & saying "oh, oh, broken" when a jump came down. I even got to pet a horse! Josie & I had lots of fun at the great playground. Before saying goodbye, I picked her some flowers!

Croquettes & fries please!

Mommy & I were playing with Play-Doh the other day and when Mommy asked what I wanted her to make I said "croquettes & fries", of course!

Rainy, rainy day

Today was a very wet day so we went to the pool in the morning! Daddy & I played in the water while Mommy relaxed at the library at Cardel Place. It was still raining in the afternoon, but Dad & I braved the elements and looked for worms.

30 weeks!

Can you believe hair can be seen on an ultrasound??

Baby's foot measures 8cm

Baby's leg; foot on left, knee to the right

Baby's face; the eyes are black, the nose white and the dark space below is the mouth.

Side view of face.

Mommy is 30 weeks along now & doing great! She had an ultrasound today and baby looks just fine. Baby is about 1667g and is in a breech position. He/she likes to lay with both legs up, with the feet in the face! The OB said Mommy is well on her way to a term pregnancy; blood pressure is good, no excessive swelling and good lab tests. We are very excited that baby is staying put!

Fun with Papie

Papie... you missed a spot!

I'll just eat my blueberries & supervise from here!

I share Papie's love of cake.

I've been having a great time with Papie but he leaves tomorrow. "That's okay" because he'll be back next month to help us move!
