We had a wonderful time in Quebec. As always, Mom & Dad enjoyed the comfort and relaxation at Mamie & Papie's house, especially Mamie's cooking. We spent all our time in Victoriaville except for one night when Mom & Dad had a romantic getaway in the Eastern Townships, away from me! That's okay I had lots of fun with Mamie, Papie and Auntie Patricia. Mommy & I enjoyed our first visit to a cabane à sucre! There were lots of people, good music and lots & lots of food. There was eggs, ham, bacon, potatoes, pea soup, veggie soup and of course, beans! For dessert we ate maple pie & special crepes... deep fried, with syrup! We were all very sugared out by the time we left but will do it again next year!

I so enjoy visiting toddler play places! There is so much to do & see and there are other toddlers for me to meet. Mom & Dad like getting out of the house, too! My favourite things to do are opening & closing all the doors & cupboards and of course, trying to open the big doors that I am not suppose to!

I have joined the rest of the toddlers in the world by

shoving things into the VCR that don't belong there.

Daddy is away for five days working so Mommy & me are having to make do without him! Yesterday we went to a place called Sip & Safari where I played with all sorts of toys & many other toddlers and Mommy sipped a latte in between playing with me.

Mommy thinks it's the best discovery yet!

This morning Mommy took me to the Farmer's Market. I walked, ran and touched all kinds of things. People thought I was pretty darn cute... especially when I started dancing along with a man playing the guitar! We bought some produce & Mommy bought a new knit hat for herself. Mommy seems to really like hats.

I have had a great week since returning from visiting Baba & Granpa in Kelowna (I had lots of fun there & did my usual escape from my parents!). The weather has been quite mild & sunny so I've spent a lot of time outside. I could spend all day outside if Mommy & Daddy would let me! I love walking around and discovering the neighbourhood. Today I spent the morning with Auntie Liping while Mommy went to the doctor. Yes, Mommy has finally found a family doctor after living in Calgary for four years. Mommy will book Daddy in as well because her doctor will soon stop taking new patients.
