New Hang Out!

I just love, love, love my new excersaucer! There are so many fun things to do & see... I can hardly wait until I can start grabbing things. I'm good at spinning around in the seat already! Mom & Dad definitely think it was worth the time to put together. Again more stuff for me, less space in the apartment!

Ah, the feeling of fresh air on the bottom... there's nothing quite like it.

Mommy & Daddy are raving this morning.... I slept eight, yes eight, hours straight last night. From 8:30pm til 4:30am I enjoyed a peaceful slumber with the occasional grumblings that had Mommy up checking on me every couple hours. I even went back to sleep on my own at 5:00am even though I was wide awake. Daddy picked me up at 7:30am when I woke up ready to start my day. I think Mommy is doing cartwheels at the moment.

Yesterday I enjoyed a trip to Okotoks with Mommy. We visited Melinda & baby Jada who was born about a week before me; she made me smile lots, I like other babies! I also met Kari & baby Madison who is way chubbier than me, over 18lbs of chub! (She's a couple months older than me & Jada) We hung out on the floor and played with toys & made all sorts of noises. I had my first experience in an exersaucer & absolutely loved it! Mommy stopped at Babies R Us on the way home & bought me one. Later today I'll play in it... pictures to follow!

Funny Pants

I am fascinated by these pants! The colours, the circles... I just can't stop looking at them!

My first sunny warm day!

Calgary hit 10 degrees today and it was a beautiful sunny day. Mommy & I went for a power walk at Edworthy Park and after I ate we went out again around the neighbourhood. This time I went in the cuddly wrap. It was our first walk this way. And my first time wearing my new shades! Mom says she didn't buy them so I'd look cool... they keep the sun out of my eyes! Daddy just smiles and says nothing. Mommy says he's smart.

My favorite hockey team

Daddy and I like watching the Montreal Canadiens. They are one of best team in the NHL right now. Daddy also told me that they were the last Canadian team to win the Stanley cup in 1993, daddy was 15 yrs old then! That's really good compared to Gus' favorite team, who hasn't won the cup yet! But maybe one day they will... oh! Am I ever kidding!

I wonder what my first word will be? But all I keep hearing is: C'est le but!!!

5 months old!

I turned 5 months old yesterday! Mommy baked me a cake... one day I'll be able to eat it!

I made my first trip to the mountains today. We drove to Canmore & I slept most of the time except to get up for an afternoon snack & fuss. Mom & Dad kept talking about how much they miss the mountains & how fun it will be to get me into the backpack in the spring. We'll see if I'll be out of my fussy stage by then or else it won't work at all. Mommy says "please let it be a stage!".
